Our LOVE,
OUR STORY
The love story starts back in high school. Barbara invited Marcos to a Galentines Dinner ('as friends'), he took along his best wingman, and the Best Man, who conspired with her friends to get them dancing on the table.
From there, they could not stop texting, flirting, and ultimately landing on a first date. Marcos asked Barbara to an ill fated coffee date, where they were unable discreetly shake off a third wheel. In hopes of making it up to her, Marcos asked for a second date. This time they landed going to a beautiful dinner at Crazy About You. Little did they know that they would become crazy about each other.
Their love continued to grow through college, where they managed endless FaceTime calls, Greyhound bus rides, and four-hour drives between Charlotte and Atlanta.

In this time, they cemented their status as each other's forever dance partners. Whether it be at their Fraternity/Sorority formals, random parties, or family celebrations, you would see them in lock step.
Finally, in 2020, they both landed back in Miami, and begun experiencing life without having 265 miles between them. Life had never been sweeter (even through the pains of Law School). In 2023, they moved in together into their new home. The love continued to intensify until finally, in a flurry of fireworks, he popped the question!
